"I just wanna be an artist mommy"

KB has always been into drawing pictures and pretty much anything else that is "crafty". I have never known of a child that has kept with the same thing for so long. Starting at about 18 months she LOVED to draw. She still at 4 1/2 spends at least 2 hours a day making pictures. Daddy had to start a "Kendal file" at work for her because we have so many. I would say we keep 2 out of the 20 she makes DAILY!

This is the one she made for Ben today :)

Really no story behind this one but I couldn't leave it out...she is so beautiful!

I know that this is soooo wrong...I should not be letting my son be this crazy at just a year old but I HAD to get this in pictures! He was determined to stand up and show us what he could do and how dare I stop him. I am scared of what the future holds for this little man. I'm thinking a whole lot of stitches!!

BFF's

Benjamin and Mowgli. These two are BFF's, they love each other.

This is Benjamin trying to ride Mowgli (notice the OH SO CUTE Lions/Jones jersey.

Ben has been busted now on several occasions, feeding Mowg under the table. It started off as the cutest thing ever and is quickly turning into a terrible habit! Mowgli misses Ben when he is sleeping and sneaks back to the bedroom to chew on his bed!!! Ben is totally unaware of all the toys his "best friend" has ruined because of his crazy chewing addiction and think his opinion might be a little different if he knew. I love that they love each other, it makes me smile when I see them playing.

Again this year we had a wonderful but very busy Christmas. Kendal FINALLY got the "Bendaroos" she has been wanting for a year now, from Grandma Leslie. (thanks grandma!!) She also opened a few puzzles, princess shoes, artsy stuff, a guitar, Polly pockets, clothes, a coat and a very cool book that her and daddy have been reading everyday. Benjamin did really well this year opening his own presents, he was so excited. He received a Tonka truck, tinker toys(that Kendal plays with more than he does), Buz Lightyear, Woody, talking Elmo, puzzles, clothes, etc etc!! They are loved and spoiled by their grandparents.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MY LOVE!!

I DECIDED THAT I WANTED TO HAVE A SURPRISE PARTY FOR KENNY (BECAUSE I LOVE HIM SO MUCH) HAHA!! WHAT I DIDNT KNOW WAS THAT I WAS GOING TO BE SICK THE LAST 4 DAYS LEADING UP TO THE SURPRISE. IT WAS A STRUGGLE BUT IN THE END I PULLED IT OFF AND HE WAS SURPRISED! WE ALL HAD A GREAT TIME AND MEMORIES WERE DEFINITELY MADE :)
